Worker Injured After Car Runs Through Front of Restaurant
Paramount, CA — A restaurant worker was luckily only minorly injured when a car crashed into the restaurant and pushed the man across the dining area.
Reports say the incident occurred in the evening on Saturday, August 17th at the Mariscos Los Dorados restaurant. The driver said she accidentally stepped on the gas instead of the brake while trying to park.
According to NBC Los Angeles, friends of the victim were worried because of existing health problems that might complicate recovery. Fortunately for all involved, the man was taken to the hospital where he needed treatment for minor cuts and bruises.
Authorities are not investigating additional factors as the cause of the crash. It is believed to be an accident. We will update this story as new details become available.
