Senior Citizen Killed in Pedestrian Collision in Los Angeles County

La Verne, California - According to reporting from KTLA 5, an 89-year-old California man was killed after being struck by an oncoming vehicle along a stretch of Arrow Highway in La Verne.

The terrible crash occurred early in the afternoon on Wednesday, July 31st, near the point at which Arrow Highway intersects with A Street.

The La Verne Police Department released a statement indicating that emergency first responders quickly arrived on the scene and found an elderly man lying in the roadway, badly injured. He was then transported to a local hospital where, tragically, he passed away from his injuries.
