Car Bursts Into Flames In Hollywood Hills 101 Freeway Crash

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, LOS ANGELES (February 24, 2019) -  An early morning crash Sunday ended with one car engulfed in flames and a second flipped upside down.

The accident shut down all northbound lanes of the 101 Freeway.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene near Universal Studios Boulevard.

One car hit the center divider trapping the driver inside until emergency responders arrived. It is not known if there were any injuries in the crash.

All lanes of the 101 Freeway reopened following the investigation, the cause of the accident is unknown.
