1 Killed, 2 Injured in Crash

Camarillo, CA — One was killed after an accident involving a motorcycle and two other vehicles early Wednesday, August 21st.

According to reports, California Highway Patrol officers responded around 7:45 a.m. to an incident reported along East Pleasant Valley Road. There, they discovered that a motorcycle and sedan were involved in a crash with a semitrailer.

One person, who was trapped in one of the vehicles, was extracted and taken to the hospital with moderate injuries, while the driver of the semitrailer suffered only minor injuries. The motorcycle rider was unfortunately killed in the accident.

The crash closed the road for a majority of the day, as it was expected not to re-open until late in the afternoon.

No statements have been made about a possible cause for the crash. We will update this post with more information when it becomes available.
